Brush! (2008): In October, 2008 DCI visited the Town of Brush who had just recently became a Main Street member community. As Brush's Main Street transitioned from a younger organization connected to the town's Chamber to an active, growing presence in the community, DCI's consultant team gave recommendations to help them grow. They suggested steps the town could take towards creating a strategic internal communications plan for staff, committees and partners along with external messaging.Burlington (2005): In 2005 DCI visited Burlington, CO to create an overall revitalization plan for their downtown. DCI’s team of consultants recommended specific actions moving forward including beautification and physical improvements to create a sense of momentum. This momentum will help the town show a sense of commitment and identify stakeholders that care about the health of downtown.
Julesburg (2010): In November, 2010, DCI visited the town of Julesburg to help the town understand how to create a thriving business community in their downtown area. DCI helped the town think of different ways to design their streets, and how they could make re-use of existing vacant buildings.
Sterling (2012): In June, 2012 DCI was asked to visit Sterling to help them develop ideas for stabilizing their commercial core, and increase the number of residents using the town’s businesses. DCI listened to business owners and community members to develop a list of recommendations for the town’s businesses and property owners to become a more attractive place for local residents to visit.
