Conference Registration Now Open!

DENVER -- May 15, 2012 --  Downtown Colorado, Inc. (DCI), a nonprofit membership organization committed to building better communities through educational and technical assistance, is pleased to announce that the registration for our 2012 Annual Conference, Design, Develop, and Deliver: Partnerships for Shaping Vital Downtowns, is now open. The conference will be held on September 12-14, 2012, in Golden, Colorado.  All registration and conference details are available at www.downtowncoloradoinc.org.  

The 2012 Annual Conference will feature more than 30 sessions, plenaries, mobile tours, and dine-arounds and more than 40 speakers.  Featured plenary sessions will include: 

• Destination BootCamp, Jon Schallert, The Schallert Group
• Community Development and Legislative Redistricting, Brad Segal, Progressive Urban Management Associates
• And more to come!

In partnership with the Department of Local Affairs and the Colorado Main Street Program, DCI is including the Main Street 101, 102 and 201 track, which is intended for new Main Streets as well as those interested in the program. The track will be included in full conference registration and is also available for a stand-alone rate using the Wednesday-Only registration. Out-of-state Main Street programs are encouraged to attend and will receive DCI membership rates.      

The Governor's Awards for Downtown Excellence Gala will be held in conjunction with the conference on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at the American Mountaineering Center. The gala will celebrate projects and people committed to community revitalization in Colorado. All full conference registrations as well as the Thursday-only conference ticket includes a complimentary ticket to the Governor's Awards for Downtown Excellence Gala. Individual tickets are available for purchase for $75. 

Early-bird ticket pricing is available for members ($210) and non-members ($310) through July 15, 2012. Standard registration pricing for members ($285) and non-members ($375) will be in effect after July 15. Group rates are also available; interested parties should contact DCI for details.
