Downtown Colorado, Inc. Board of Directors and Staff invite you to an
evening of networking and wine tasting to be held Friday, August 10
from 6-9:30pm. All proceeds will go to Downtown Colorado, Inc. and the
event will be hosted at the home of board member, Vicki Mattox, 380 Ash
Street, Denver, Colorado, 80220. Event Details: Check-in
begins at 6:00pm, and the wine-tasting will begin at 7:00pm. Please
check in by 6:30pm to ensure all wines are able to be prepared before
the tasting. Attendees should register as a team of up
to 3 people. Please select a California white wine for the tasting. Each
team must bring three identical bottles of wine. Registration is a $100 per team. During
the event, two bottles from each team will be concealed and assigned a
random number. After all wines are concealed, guests will sample and
write down their favorite and least favorite wines and the scores will
be tallied. The team who brings the wine that receives the most votes wins ALL of
the unopened bottles of wine. The team who brings the wine that is the
least favorite will take back his or her unopened third bottle of wine.
