Downtown Colorado, Inc. (DCI) presents an Urban Renewal 101 & 201 Workshop for beginner and advanced urban renewal staff, board members, and partners considering how the best to maximize impacts of tax increment financing in downtown and redevelopment projects. The Urban Renewal 101 Workshop will review how the tool works, how to work with partners, and dive into the legislation that guides urban renewal Colorado. The 201 session will investigate good practices, how to work with developers, and using urban renewal to drive opportunity zone projects. Please share this event information with your staff, boards and elected officials, property and business owners, and local stakeholders who are ready to move forward with a thriving downtown management approach! The training will be equally relevant to both appointed and city council boards.
